  1. Start with an outline or storyboard to organize your idea.
    • Things to think about: Who do you want to talk to, where do you want to film, waht do you want people to come away with after viewing your vlog?
    • In what way will pepole feel differently about HIV/AIDS in your state after experiencing your video diary?
  2. This is a video diary so be sure to show us and tell us.
  3. Your video diary can include interviews, voice over and/or direct addresses to the camera. You can use alll these approaches, just one or none of them. It's up to you. This is your video.
  4. Be creative and have fun!

Make sure your vlog doesn't include any:

  • music
  • logos
  • profanity
  • violence
  • drugs
  • alcohol
  • derogatory comments
  • or the use of names of individuals who do not consent to sharing their stories
